SFO is required to recover the operating costs of ground transportation from providers and evaluates annually if a rate increase is required to cover costs. SFO has not increased fees for the past four (4) years. In the last year, operating expenses have increased 12.3%. Accordingly, SFO will increase the taxi pickup fee from $5.50 to $6.00, a 9% increase. Other modes will experience a similar rate increase. This increase can be passed through to customers per SFMTA regulations.

The Airport will hold meetings with all ground transportation providers to review proposed trip fees for the following fiscal year. This year’s meeting for Taxis has been scheduled for:
Wednesday, April 30, 2025
4:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Ground Transportation Unit
947 North Field Road, San Francisco, CA 94128
**Note: In-Person Only**

At this time, the agenda includes the following topics:
• Airline Relocations
• New Routes
• Passenger Traffic Trends
• Cost Recovery
