NE Mission Working Group Agenda

6:00-8:00pm

  1. Introductions
  2. Field questions about the various regulations and their operations from which to choose
  3. Confirm area within project boundary to tackle first—latest recommendation is between 16th & 19th streets
  4. Work session with the Working Group—go block face by block face and identify single regulation to advance to final outreach meetings for this specific section of the project area
  5. Review final outreach meetings.  Recommendation (and something we have done during COVID with success): One (1) public meeting and one (1) public meeting/public hearing.  Outreach/notification will include postcards to everyone in the project area and letters to anyone currently part of RPP in the project area, email to the listserv, posting on project webpage, any other postings available through community groups and supervisor’s office.

•    Ensure you are in a quiet location
•    Speak clearly
•    Turn off any TVs or radios around you 

Providing Public Comment from a computer:
•    Use the raise hand feature to let the moderator know that you would like to speak
•    The moderator will allow you to unmute
•    Unmute yourself by clicking on the microphone icon
•    You will have the standard two minutes to provide comment
•    The moderator will then lower your hand and remove the ability for you to speak into the meeting

Providing Public Comment by phone:
•    Dial *9 to let the moderator know that you would like to speak by raising your hand in the meeting
•    The moderator will allow you to unmute
•    Unmute yourself by dialing *6
•    You will have the standard two minutes to provide comment
•    The moderator will then lower your hand and remove the ability for you to speak into the meeting
