SFMTA is committed to improving access to on-demand taxi service for wheelchair users. To achieve this, SFMTA has provided continued support of the ramp taxi program by extending funding to drivers who own and operate ramp taxis and introducing new policies that reward ramp taxi drivers who perform a high number of trips to wheelchair users. We encourage all taxi drivers to participate in the ramp taxi program and experience its benefits by taking advantage of the new programs described here.
