N Judah Alternatives (during normal service)

When the N Judah isn't running, we'll normally try to provide you with shuttle buses. Sometimes that can take a while, so here are some alternatives to keep you on the move:

Alternative Inbound service

Outer Outer Sunset to Downtown

  • AM peak take NX Judah Express
  • Walk to Noriega, then 7X Noriega Express  or 7 Haight/Noriega inbound
  • Walk to 46th Avenue, then 18 46th Avenue  south to Noriega, then transfer to the above lines
  • Walk to Sunset Boulevard, or Lincoln east of Sunset, then 29 Sunset to 19th Avenue, then transfer to the above lines

Outer Sunset Irving shopping district to Downtown

  • AM peak take NX Judah Express
  • 7X Noriega Express or 7 Haight/Noriega inbound

Inner Sunset to Downtown

  • 6 Haight/Parnassus, 7X Noriega Express or 7 Haight/Noriega inbound

Cole Valley to Downtown

  • 6 Haight/Parnassus  inbound
  • Walk to Haight, then 7 Haight/Noriega  inbound

Duboce Triangle to Downtown

  • F Market & Wharves  eastbound
  • Walk to Haight, then 6 Haight/Parnassus  or 7 Haight/Noriega inbound
  • 22 Fillmore eastbound to 16th/Mission, then BART
  • If only N not running, walk to Church & Market, then KLM inbound at Church Station

Downtown to SoMa, Oracle Park, Mission Bay

  • 10 Townsend from 2nd & Stevenson
  • 12 Folsom/Pacific
  • 30 Stockton or 45 Union/Stockton from 4th & Market
  • 47 Van Ness

Alternate Outbound Service

SoMa, Oracle Park, Mission Bay to Downtown

  • 10 Townsend along Townsend (between 7th and 2nd)
  • 10 Townsend along 2nd (between Townsend & Folsom)
  • 12 Folsom/Pacific
  • 30 Stockton or 45 Union/Stockton along 3rd Street
  • 47 Van Ness

Downtown to Duboce Triangle

  • F Market & Wharves westbound
  • 6 Haight/Parnassus or 7 Haight/Noriega outbound, then walk from Haight
  • BART to 16th/Mission, then 22 Fillmore westbound
  • If only N not running, then KLM outbound to Church Station or J to Church & 14th

Downtown to Cole Valley

  • 6 Haight/Parnassus  outbound
  • 7 Haight/Noriega outbound, then walk from Haight

Downtown to Inner Sunset

  • 6 Haight/Parnassus, 7X Noriega Express  or 7 Haight/Noriega outbound

Downtown to Outer Sunset Irving shopping district

  • AM peak take NX Judah Express
  • 7X Noriega Express  or 7 Haight/Noriega  outbound

Downtown to Outer Outer Sunset

  • PM peak, take NX Judah Express
  • 7X Noriega Express or 7 Haight/Noriega outbound, then walk
  • Ride the above lines to Lincoln & 19th, then 29 Sunset
  • Ride the above lines to 46th Avenue, then 18 46th Avenue
