Contruction will be kicking off early July for the 9 San Bruno Rapid Project! By Spring 2017, 20,000 daily riders on the 9 San Bruno and 9 San Bruno Rapid will have a quicker, more reliable ride, and a safer space to get on and off the bus.
Details:
Several transit reliability and pedestrian safety improvements will be constructed as part of the project, including:
- Transit bulbs at 11th St at Harrison, and along Bayshore Blvd at Jerrold, Oakdale and Cortland
- Transit islands at 11th St at Harrison, and along Bayshore Blvd at Flower and Cortland
- Stop optimization along Bayshore Blvd at Jerrold, Oakdale and Cortland.

Timeline:
Construction begings early July 2016 and is anticipated for completion by spring 2017.
