Dolores Hill Bomb - Saturday, July 6, 2024

Event Summary

The Hill Bomb is an annual event where skateboarders coast down the steep segment of Dolores Street from 21st to 18th streets.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed from approximately 4 to 10 p.m.

  • Dolores Street betwen 21st and 18th streets
  • Church Street/J Church Right of Way between 21st and 18th streets
  • 18th Street between Guerrero and Sanchez streets

Muni Service Impacts

Bus shuttles will provide J Church Line service all day. The F Market and Wharves Line will be served by a combination of streetcars and bus shuttles. The 33 Ashbury/18th Street Route will have a reroute.

Inbound J Bus Shuttle

  • J Bus Shuttles will make island stops along San Jose Avenue from Santa Ynez to Santa Rosa avenues.
  • J Bus Shuttles will make curbside stops along Church Street from 30th to 22nd streets except at 29th and 24th streets (bus shuttles will stop at the boarding islands).
  • J Bus shuttles will make flag stops along Church Street from 21st to 18th streets.
  • J Bus shuttles will make island stops along Church Street from 16th Street to Duboce Avenue.
  • Transfer point for the subway will be at Church Station at Church and Market.

Outbound J Bus Shuttle

to Balboa Park

5 a.m. to 4 p.m.

and

10 p.m. to end of service
  • Westbound J customers in the subway can take any westbound M, K, or shuttle train to Church Station and transfer to the J Bus Shuttle at Church and Market.
  • J Bus Shuttles will make curbside stops along Church Street at Duboce Avenue; from 18th to 30th streets except at 24th Street and at Day Street (bus shuttles will stop at the boarding islands).
  • J Bus Shuttles will make island stops along San Jose Avenue from Santa Rosa to Ocean avenues and at Seneca Avenue.

 

 

Inbound J Bus Shuttle

to Downtown

 4 to 10 p.m.
  • J Bus Shuttles will make island stops along San Jose Avenue from Santa Ynez to Santa Rosa avenues.
  • J Bus Shuttles will make curbside stops along Church Street from 30th to 22nd streets except at 29th and 24th streets (bus shuttles will stop at the boarding islands).
  • J Bus Shuttles will operate along Guerrero Street between 22nd and 17th streets.
  • J Bus shuttles will make island stops along Church Street from 16th Street to Duboce Avenue.
  • Transfer point for the subway will be at Church Station at Church and Market.

Outbound J Bus Shuttle

to Balboa Park

 4 to 10 p.m.
  • Westbound J customers in the subway can take a westbound M, K, or shuttle train to Church Station and transfer to the J Bus Shuttle at Church and Market.
