Adds requirement that SFMTA provide breakrooms during special events near the worksite, and a daily $10 lunch allowance for employees who work six (6) hours or more.

Removes requirement that employees elect either grievance or internal EEO process for complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, or denial of legally protected leave.

Updates quarterly bid eligibility requirements and procedures. Changes Field Training Officer sign up to occur quarterly and clarifies that lead assignments other than FTO continue to be made at SFMTA’s discretion. Adds provision for bidding for new swing shift slots created in connection with new hires.

Subject Wages (Base) Proposed Change Following the city's wage increase pattern, represented employees will receive base wage increases based on the following schedule:

If the citywide budget deficit projection exceeds $300M in Year 2, each affected base wage increase will be delayed 6 months.

Subject Field Training Officer Proposed Change
Employees designated by their supervisor as Field Training Officers shall be entitled to a premium in the amount of thirty-five dollars (previously $25) per day when required to perform Field Training Officer duties.

Employees designated by their supervisor as lead person shall be entitled to an additional flat rate of twenty-five dollars (previously 5.5% base hourly rate) when required to take the lead on any job what at least two other persons are assigned.

In recognition of the difficulty in storing or transporting food while working, SFMTA will provide a daily lunch allowance in the amount of ten dollars for employees who work at least six hours.
