December 2016 Post Incident Summaries

Friday, December 30

• From 9:34 to 10:06 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked in both directions at Market and 16th streets by an automobile on the track way.
• From 2:00 to 3:19 p.m., the 14 Mission Route was routed around the area of Mission Street and Mount Vernon Avenue in both directions due to a non Muni colision.

Thursday, December 29

• From 10:00 to 10:44 p.m., the 19 Polk Route was routed around De Haro Street between 19th and 20th streets in both directions due to fire department activity.
• From 5:13 to 5:50 p.m., the southbound N Judah and E Embarcadero lines were switched back at Fourth and Channel streets due to a signal issue at King and Sixth streets.
• From 1:45 to 2:19 p.m., the southbound 29 Sunset Route was routed around Sunset Boulevard and Pacheco Street due to a non Muni collision.
• From 9:16 to 11:15 a.m., the outbound Muni Metro subway was delayed between Church and Van Ness stations due to a switch issue. Outbound N Judah and J Church trains were routed out of West Portal Station. Inbound L Taraval, M Oceanview, and J Church trains were routed out of Ferry Portal to Caltrain. Bus shuttles supported Metro service.

Monday, December 26

• From 9:09 to 10:57 p.m., due to fire department activity on Stockton Street between Broadway and Green streets the 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton routes were routed around the area in both directions as was the southbound 8 Bayshore Route.

Friday, December 23

• From 10:17 a.m. to 1:50 p.m., the 5R Fulton Rapid Route was blocked at Fulton Street and 17th Avenue by a non Muni collision. Westbound 5R coaches were switched back at Fulton Street and Sixth Avenue. The 5 Fulton Line and bus shuttles supported 5R service.
• From 6:56 to 7:49 the southbound Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was delayed on Hyde Street between Bay and Francisco streets due to a Muni involved collision. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Wednesday, December 21

• From 5:20 to 6:06 p.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah and 18th due to a Muni involved collision. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Tuesday, December 20

• From 7:25 to 8:29 p.m., the southbound T Third Line was delayed at Third Street and Mission Bay due to a Muni involved collision. Southbound T trains switched back at Fourth and Channel streets. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Monday, December 19

• From 7:06 to 11:00 p.m., westbound Muni Market Street service was delayed at Market and Kearny streets due to a Muni involved collision. The southbound F Market and Wharves Line was switched back at The Ferry Building while eastbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Muni bus service was routed around the affected area in both directions.

Saturday, Decmeber 17

• From 3:41 to 9:28 p.m., the westbound California Cable Car Line was delayed at California and Drumm streets due to a mechanical issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 5:26 to 9:30 a.m., the southbound M Oceanview Line was delayed on 19th Avenue between Junipero Serra Boulevard and Crespi Drive due to downed overhead wires. Both the M and K Ingleside trains were routed over the J Church Line in both directions. Bus shuttles provided M and K service.

Friday, December 16

• From 12:58 to 1:49 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed on Market Street between 15th and Church street due to a Muni involved collision. Westbound F streetcar switched back at Noe Street.
• From 12:36 to 7:50 p.m., The southbound 8 Bayshore Route was routed around Stockton and Sacramento streets as were the 1 California , 30 Stockton, and 45 Union/Stockton routes in both directions due to a non Muni collision.

Thursday, December 15

• From 8:25 to 10:44 p.m., the J Church Line was blocked at San Jose Avenue and Randall Street in both directions by an automobile on the track way. Southbound J trains switched back at Church and Day streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Tuesday, December 13

• From 10:41 to 11:15 a.m., the southbound N Judah, and E Embarcadero lines were delayed at King and Sixth streets in both directions due to a signal issue. Southbound N trains switched back at Fourth and King streets, while southbound E Embarcadero streetcars switch back at Fourth and Channel streets. 

• From 6:24 to 7:07 a.m., the northbound M Oceanview Line was delayed at Broad Street and Orizaba Avenue by a stalled train. Bus shuttles provided line service. 

Saturday, December 10

• From 11:58 a.m. to 1:32 p.m., the M Oceanview and K Ingleside lines were blocked at West Portal and Ulloa Street in both directions by a non Muni collision. Outbound M and K trains were switched back at West Portal Station. Northbound M trains were routed over the J Church Line. Northbound K trains were held at Ocean Avenue and Howth Street. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From7:25 to 8:18 a.m., the 5 Fulton Route was delayed on Fulton Street between Eighth Avenue and La Playa Street in both directions due to an overhead power issue. Westbound 5 coaches were switched back at Fulton Street and Sixth Avenue. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Friday, December 9

• From 5:30 to 6:21 a.m., due to a fallen tree on the overhead wire on Divisadero and O'Farrell streets, the southbound 24 Divisadero Route was routed around the affected area.
• From 3:23 to 8:30 a.m., due to a fallen tree on the overhead wire on Van Ness Avenue between Union and Green streets, the 30 Stockton, 47 Van Ness, 49 Van Ness/Mission, and 91 Owl routes were routing around that area in both directions.

Thursday, December 8

• From 7:21 to 7:54 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and Fifth streets due to a stalled streetcar. Southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Building while eastbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Tuesday, December 6

• From 2:12 to 3:25 p.m., the southbound N Judah and E Embarcadero lines were switched back at Fourth and Channel streets due to a Muni involved collision at King and Sixth streets.

Saturday, December 3

• From 5:52 to 9:32 p.m., the Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 7:27 to 8:41 a.m., the northbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Jefferson and Powell streets due to a Muni involved collision. Northbound F streetcars switched back at Pier 39. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Friday, December 2

• From 5:20 to 6:09 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and Noe streets by a non Muni collision. Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Thursday, December 1

• From 12:00 to 4:09 p.m., the 28 19th Avenue and 43 Masonic routes were routed around Lombard and Divisadero streets in both directions due to a non Muni collision.
• From 11:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the southbound T Third Line was delayed at Third Street and Jerrold Avenue by a Muni involved collision. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Evans Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.
