We’re seeking volunteers to join the Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit Community Advisory Committee to keep us honed in on the changing needs of the city.

As we approach construction on the Van Ness Improvement Project, we’re looking for input from folks who live, work or spend time on Van Ness Avenue.  As a member of the CAC, you can help shape future project decisions and be among the first to receive updates on the project –  and provide feedback directly.

A view of the corner of Van Ness Avenue and McAllister Street shows a Muni bus driving down Van Ness, with two people on the corner and San Francisco City Hall in the background.

Input from members of our Van Ness BRT CAC has helped us make important decisions on factors like the design of railing and shelters at boarding platforms, as well as the best ways to get project information to the public. Whether you drive, bike, ride transit or walk on Van Ness, your involvement can help us improve the way you get around the city.

If you’re interested, you can file an application by Thursday, March 31. If you have questions about the project or application process, you can email us at vannessbrt@sfmta.com.
