Dear Neighbors,
Thank you for your continued interest in the SFMTA Commuter Shuttle Program. We would like to notify you that the SFMTA Board of Directors will be discussing and taking possible action on amendments to the Commuter Shuttle Program at their Board Hearing on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 1pm.
The SFMTA Board will consider limiting the duration of the Commuter Shuttle Program to one year, limiting the number of designated shuttle zones to 125, and directing staff to study various effects of the program. Please click here for the March 1 SFMTA Board Agenda. This Hearing follows the withdrawal of the Appeal on the CEQA Findings for the Commuter Shuttle Program, discussed at the SF Board of Supervisors Hearing on Tuesday, February 23.
SFMTA staff may begin to legislate and implement changes to the Commuter Shuttle Zone Network following the SFMTA Board of Directors decision on March 1st. We will post additional updates on these changes in the coming weeks.
Thank you, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Alex Jonlin (Alexander.Jonlin@sfmta.com or 415.646.2349).
