Temporary, until streets clear (approximately 12:30 p.m.)

Event Summary

The Filipino Community is sponsoring its 31st annual Pistahan Parade on Saturday, August 10, 2024. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. from Civic Center Plaza and disband at Yerba Buena Gardens where the annual Pistahan Arts Festival will be celebrated on both Saturday and Sunday. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute service in the area. Read below for more information.

Street Closures

These streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.:

  • McAllister between Larkin and Hyde
  • Fulton between Larkin and Hyde
  • Grove between Larkin and Hyde

These streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:

  • Market between Hyde and 4th St
  • 4th St between Market and Howard

Muni Service Changes

Muni will temporarily change service along the parade route, most routes will reroute on to Mission Street. Some routes will switchback--changing from inbound to outbound--before they get to Market Street.
