Motor Coach Substitution at Haight and Laguna & Ashbury Streets

The 6-Haight/Parnassus will be motorized for the entire duration of this project which will run until December 31, 2016. 

A contractor for the San Francisco Department of Public Works (SFDPW), the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and the SFMTAs’ Muni Forward will continue on a 16 month construction project on Haight Street from Laguna to Ashbury Streets.

The scope of the work includes sewer replacement, new water lines, roadway repaving and new bus bulbs at key stop locations.

In addition, DPW and the PUC will utilize the motor coach subtitution to work on another project along this route to replace sewers on Quintara between 10th & 14th Avenues that will occur during the same time.
