Введение к проекту (Project Introduction)

The SFMTA is proposing to enhance pedestrian safety by installing new No Turn on Red restrictions and accompanying signage at approximately 200 signalized intersections. The new restrictions would be focused on the City’s downtown North of Market and South of Market core areas where both crash and pedestrian concentrations are highest and is a low-cost measure to improve pedestrian safety by keeping crossing walks clear of turning vehicles.
