Townsend Corridor Improvement Project Construction Forecast - October 4, 2019

The following construction forecast is subject to change due to weather delays or unexpected field conditions.

Townsend Street - from 4th to 5th streets 
Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.:

• Catch basin work will occur on the south side of Townsend Street, mid block, between 4th and 5th streets October 5-6 
• Sidewalk and ramp work will occur on the south side of Townsend Street opposite the intersection with 5th Street October 5-6 

Townsend Street - from 4th to 5th streets 
Weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.:

• Concrete barriers on the south side of Townsend Street separating work crews from pedestrian and bicycles will be moved from the intersection at 5th westward towards 4th Street during the week of October 7-11

At times, Muni stops on the south side of Townsend Street between 4th and 5th streets for bus routes 10, 47, and 83x may shift 50-200 feet in order to accommodate work crews and constructions activities. Please follow signs.
