We Are The City Excelsior is a Sunday Streets Summer Pop-Up event that will take place on Ocean Avenue. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Streets will be closed and Muni will reroute around the event.
Street Closures
Ocean Ave will be closed to automobiles between Mission and Persia from 8 a.m .to 7 p.m.
Muni Reroute
The 49 Van Ness Mission will reroute around the event from 8 a.m .to 7 p.m.
Inbound to Fort Mason
From Ocean Ave, the reroute will turn right onto Persia, then left onto Mission to the regular route.
The stop at Ocean & Persia will be missed. Board at Mission & Brazil.
Outbound to City College
From Mission, the reroute will turn right onto Silver, left onto Alemany, then right onto Ocean to the regular route.
The stop at Ocean & Mission will be missed. There will be a temporary stop at Mission, before Silver. For stops along Mission, transfer to the 14 Mission.
