The SFMTA Board of Directors provides policy oversight for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and service in San Francisco. This includes the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni), automobiles and trucks, taxis, bicycling and walking. The SFMTA Board of Directors also serves as members of the San Francisco Parking Authority.
Our board of directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. This week's agenda will have presentation and discussion regarding the Bike Share community outreach process, Light Rail Vehicle procurement Phase II and the L Taraval Improvement Project.

Join us for a meeting hosted by the Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association featuring a brief presentation about the Sansome and Battery Connections Project by SFMTA project staff followed by further discussion about proposed project elements. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 25 Broadway.

Want to know what the San Francisco Arts Commission has been up to lately? This month for Meet the Expert we will be hearing from Jackie von Treskow from the Civic Art Collection and Public Art Program. Come learn about their latest work throughout the city and their plans for new work coming to the Van Ness Improvement Project.
Meet the Expert is an informal speaker series where presenters provide their expertise on a variety of Van Ness-related topics, from construction to Muni service to history. This is your chance to join the conversation, ask questions or just listen.
Each event is free to attend, but attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.
