Traffic fatalities in Communities of Concern

Purpose

This metric provides a benchmark to track progress toward reaching our Vision Zero goal to eliminate traffic deaths and reduce severe injuries where low income communities, seniors, and people of color are disproportionately affected by traffic violence.

Definition

Fatality counts are tabulated by the San Francisco Department of Public Health and reported across Communities of Concern.
