March participants will begin gathering at Embarcadero Plaza at 10 a.m. The march will begin at 11 a.m., going up Market and McAllister to Civic Center Plaza. Muni will reroute buses that serve or cross Market Street. Read below for more information on which routes will be impacted, when they will be impacted and where board during the reroute.

Street Closures
The march will start at 11 a.m. from Embarcadero Plaza and go down Market to McAllister to Civic Center Plaza. Beginning at 10 a.m., Mission Street will be open for transit vehicles only. Streets will reopen once the march is clear.
Getting to Embarcadero Plaza
The easiest way to get to Embarcadero Plaza is via the Market Street Subway. Embarcadero Station is the closest stop, but consider using Montgomery Station to avoid heavy crowds. From the Caltrain Station, take the N Judah, T Third, E Embarcadero or 10 Townsend; the 30/45 SoMa Shuttle will also operate in a loop between the Caltrain Station and Mission Street until the march is over.
Muni Impact Summary
Most routes will switchback--changing from inbound to outbound--before they reach Market Street. Some routes will operate on Mission Street instead. Most routes that cross Market Street will be rerouted around the event areas. The 30/45 SoMa Shuttle will also operate in a loop between the Caltrain Station and Mission Street from 10 a.m. until the march is over. Reroutes start at different times, but all service will return to normal once Market Street is clear.
