The agenda for tomorrow’s board of directors meeting features a presentation on and possible adoption of the SFMTA's 20-year Capital Plan.

Our board of directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The agendas are posted under “meetings” on the Board’s webpage 72 hours in advance.

6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project Open House

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 5 to 7 p.m.

With the 6th Street Pedestrian Safety Project, we and SF Public Works aim to create a safer and more inviting place to walk, bike and drive on 6th, between Market and Brannan streets. At this open house, we’ll share the project proposal, information about the planning process, and ask for input on how to best designate curbside parking and loading zones. SF Public Works staff will be on hand to collect feedback on streetscape features like new pedestrian-oriented lighting, new trees and pavement treatments. Check out our blog post to learn more.

The SFMTA is assessing potential improvements to make 11th Street safer for people walking and biking while making curbside loading easier for businesses. Please join us at a public open house to provide your feedback on the design proposals.
