Post Incident Summaries - September 2016

Wednesday, September 28

• From 8:40 to 9:55 p.m., the westbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and Third streets due to a Muni involved collision. Southbound F streetcars switched back at the Ferry Building, while westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets.

Tuesday, September 27

• From 11:59 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Sunday, September 25

• From 7:37 to 9:28 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was blocked by an automobile in the Sunset Tunnel. Westbound N trains switched back at Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street while eastbound N trains switched back at Carl and Cole streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 1:48 to 4:07 p.m., the T Third Line was blocked at the Fourth Street Bridge due to a mechanical issue with the bridge. Northbound T trains switched back at Fourth and Channel streets, while southbound T trains switched back at Fourth and King streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Saturday, September 24

• From 7:50 to 8:36 p.m., the northbound M Oceanview Line was blocked at 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard by a non Muni collision. Northbound M trains were routed over the K Ingleside Line. Bus shuttles supported M line service.
• From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., westbound Market Street Muni service experienced slow moving service and minor delays near Market and Montgomery streets due to a protest.
• From 5:21 to 6:02 a.m., the northbound K Ingleside Line was blocked at Ocean Avenue and Junipero Serra Blouevard by an automobile on the track way. Northbound K trains were routed oved the J Church LIne. Bus shuttles supported K line service.

Friday, September 23

• From 3:54 to 4:36 p.m., the westbound 1 California Route was routed around Sacramento Street between Montgomery and Kearny streets due to a stalled truck.
• From 5:07 to 7:46 a.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Thursday, September 22

• From 4:25 to 4:55 p.m., the southbound T Third Line was delayed at Third and 16th streets due to a stalled streetcar. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 11:46 a.m. to 12:18 p.m., the Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 10:20 to 10:55 a.m., the northbound T Third Line was delayed at Third and 25th streets due to a Muni-involved collision. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 9:15 to 10:14 a.m., the 22 Fillmore Route was delayed at Fillmore and Haight streets due to police activity. Southbound 22 coaches switched back at Fillmore and McAllister streets while northbound 22 coaches switched back at Church and 16th streets. Bus shuttles supplemented line service. 
• From 7:29 to 9:37 a.m., the 14 Mission, 47 Van Ness, and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes were routed around the area of Mission Street and South Van Ness Avenue due to police activity. 

Wednesday, September 21

• From 5:18 to 6:13 p.m., the eastbound L Taraval Line was delayed at 46th Avenue and Taraval Street due to a train with a mechanical issue. Westbound L trains switched back at Taraval Street and Sunset Boulevard. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Tuesday, September 20

• From 3:16 to 8:01 p.m., the California Cable Car LIne was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 11:11 to 11:58 a.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 11:09 a.m. to 2:09 p.m., the southbound 18 46th Avenue Route was routed around 47th Avenue and Wawona Street due to PG&E repair work.

Sunday, September 18

• From 12:39 to 1:30 p.m., the southbound J Church Line was delayed at Church and 18th streets due to a stalled streetcar. Southbound J trains switched back at Church and 16th streets, while northbound J trains switched back at Church and 22nd streets. Bus shuttles supported line service.
• From 1:00 to 1:30 a.m. the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed on Market Street between Second and First streets due to a stalled streetcar.

Friday, September 16

• From 3:35 to 4:20 p.m., the N Judah Line was blocked near Carl and Cole streets due to an automobile in the Sunset Tunnel. Westbound N trains switched back at Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street, while eastbound N trains switched back at Carl Street and Hillway Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Thursday, September 15

• From 9:14 p.m. to 12:24 a.m. Friday, the southbound 14 Mission Route was re-routed around Mission Street and Evergreen Avenue due to police activity.

Tuesday, September 13

• From 8:29 to 10:30 p.m., the northbound 27 Bryant Route was routed around Ellis and Taylor streets due to fire department activity.

Sunday, September 11

• From 3:25 to 5:02 p.m., the eastbound 5 Fulton Route was routed around Fulton Street and 43rd Avenue due to downed overhead wires. Bus shuttles supported route service.
• From 7:32 to 8:22 a.m., the northbound K Ingleside Line was delayed at Ocean Avenue and Lee Street due to a stalled train. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Saturday, September 10

• From 9:57 to 10:36 p.m., the southbound N Judah and T Third lines were delayed on The Embarcadero at Harrison Street due to a Muni involved collision. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 8:14 to 10:51 a.m., the 33 Ashbury/18th Street Route was blocked at 18th and Eureka streets in both directions by a non Muni collision. Eastbound 33 coaches were switched back at Haight and Stanyan streets while the westbound 33 coaches were switched back at 18th and Collingwood streets. Bus shuttles supported route service.
• From 12:09 to 12:43 a.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was blocked on Taraval Street between 18th and 19th avenues by a non Muni collision.

Thursday, September 8

• From 3:09 to 5:47 p.m., the 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 49 Van Ness/Mission, and 55 16th Street routes were routed around the area of Mission and 15th streets in both directions due to a non Muni collision.
• From 1:50 to 2:30 p.m., the downtown Muni bus and F Market and Wharves Line service experienced delays and slow moving service due to a protest march.

Tuesday, September 6

• From 7:40 to 8:10 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Market and Octavia streets by police activity. Westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 9:33 to 8:40 p.m., the eastbound California Cable Car Line was delayed at California and Grants streets due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 7:58 to 9:02 a.m., the eastbound 6 Haight/Parnassus and  7Haight/Noriega routes were routed around the area of Octavia Boulevard and Fell Street due to fire department activity.  

Monday, September 5

• From 3:58 to 5:29 p.m., the eastbound California Cable Car Line was delayed at California and Polk streets due to a stalled cable car. Bus shuttles provided line service.

Saturday, September 3

• From 3:33 to 4:50 p.m., the J Church and F Market and Wharves lines were delayed at Market and Church streets due to a disabled Muni vehicle. Northbound J trains switched back at Church and 16th streets while westbound F streetcars switched back at Market and 11th streets. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 8:05 to 8:43 a.m., the northbound J Church Line was blocked at San Jose and Santa Rosa avenues by a non Muni collision. Southbound J trains switched back at Glen Park Station, while northbound J trains were routed over the K Ingleside Line. Bus shuttles provided line service.
• From 6:51 to 7:52 a.m. the Muni Metro subway experienced slow moving service in both directions between Church and Van Ness stations due to police activity.

Friday, September 2

• From 12:32 to 1:33 p.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was blocked at Ulloa Street and 14th Avenue by a disabled automobile. Outbound L trains switched back at West Portal Station, while eastbound L trains switched back at Taraval Street and 22nd Avenue. Bus shuttles supported line service.

Thursday, September 1

• From, 7:38 to 8:39 p.m., the northbound Powell Hyde Cable Car Line was blocked at Hyde and North Point streets by a disabled automobile on the track way. Bus shuttles provided line service.
