SFMTA Budget Community Outreach

Transportation is a vital part of a thriving and equitable community and economy - there is no economic recovery without strong public transportation. To ensure that we are meeting the transportation needs of San Francisco before we develop a draft of our 2023 & 2024 Fiscal Year Budget, we received feedback through a community survey. The survey is now closed. Thank you for your participation!

Your feedback will help us understand what investments are most important to San Franciscans and help our agency make better informed decisions about our two-year budget, including potential fare changes, both increases and decreases. The SFMTA is also proposing to extend the Free Muni for all Youth under age 19 Pilot Program through Fiscal Year 2023 and Fiscal Year 2024.
