Work is planned over the next month to develop work zones for the upcoming utility work. These work areas will be approximately five feet from the building line to approximately the center of the roadway.
To make space for these construction zones, traffic lanes will shift in late, parking will be temporarily removed, blue curb parking for people with disabilities and loading zones will be temporarily relocated, sidewalk widths will be reduced and bus stops will be reconfigured. Project staff is reaching out directly to businesses and residents on blocks that are impacted by these changes.
Those who travel in and through the area are advised to take alternate routes and plan for delays.
