Bus stop changes on Geary at Van Ness-Franklin

To improve the transit service at the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) under construction on Geary Street at Van Ness Avenue, changes to bus stops for the 38 Geary and 38R Geary Rapid will be made on Monday, March 19:

  • The outbound bus stop on Geary at Van Ness will be relocated from the east side of Van Ness to the west side of Van Ness at Geary Boulevard. This stop serves both the 38 Geary and 38R Geary Rapid.
  • The temporary outbound bus stop on Geary at Franklin will be discontinued. This stop serves the 38 Geary. Passengers who use this stop should board at the new bus stop on the west side of Van Ness Avenue.
