SFMTA is making accessibility improvements to Castro Station, including adding a second elevator to improve customers’ access to the station. Drop in during an upcoming open house to learn about what else we’re doing at the station and see what the elevator might look like.
Two open houses are being held:
- Monday, March 5, 6-8pm
- Monday, March 12, 6-8pm
Both open houses will be held at the Eureka Valley Rec Center, in the upstairs multipurpose room. Informational boards will be on display showing the planned improvements for the station. Attendees can provide input on the look of the new elevator. There will be no presentation, and attendees can show up anytime during the open house hours to learn about the project. Sign up for email alerts and learn more about the project at the Castro Accessibility Improvements Project website or sfmta.com/castroaccess.
