Help Make Market Street Safer

As we discussed last week, as The Chronicle explained this morning and as other media partners have pointed out here and here, changes are coming to downtown streets that will restrict you from driving on Market Street. Starting tomorrow, at several locations between 3rd and 8th streets you will no longer be allowed to turn onto Market Street.

Below is a handy map. It may be helpful to note that while Central Subway construction has Stockton and Ellis closed at Market Street, northbound turns will be allowed from 5th Street onto Market in order to get to 4th Street.
