The first chart shows citywide emissions:
- 44% are from the transportation sector
- 44% from buildings
- 6% from landfilled organics
- 4% from the municipal sector
- 2% from agriculture
- Less than 1% from wastewater
The second chart shows emissions from the transportation sector:
- 68% are from cars and trucks
- 23% from ships and boats (not counting ferries)
- 8% from off-road vehicles
- Less than 1% from public transit
The third chart shows emissions from public transit:
- 64% are from Caltrain
- 34% from ferries
- 2% from Muni
- Less than 1% from other sources
