Potrero Yard Modernization Project -- August 2023 Update

We're continuing our popular Potrero Yard public tours next week with afternoon tours on Monday, August 14, at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. This is a rare chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at trolley bus yard operations and to see why this 108-year-old facility needs to be rebuilt. A few reservation slots remain as of this writing, so reserve a spot now,
► The Working Group expands with nine new members
The Potrero Yard Neighborhood Working Group welcomed nine new members at our most recent meeting, held earlier this week. These members filled vacancies for existing and newly created seats, and they include:

We welcome these new members and look forward to having them help advance this project along its path. The Working Group continues to be one of the project's primary stakeholders, partnering to help advise on crucial topics and helping to spread the word throughout the communities the Potrero Yard Modernization Project seeks to serve.
► Project Team members at Sunday Streets, July 30
The Sunday Streets program kicked off its 2023 season on July 30 on Valencia Street in the Mission, and project team members were there to connect with community members and share information on the Potrero Yard Modernization Project. We will be at more public events in the coming weeks and months, so please stay tuned — and check out the Project page for regular updates!

If your organization would like an update on the Project, let us know! We have been hosting Community Listening Sessions to provide updates on the project and listen to your feedback. Let us know what dates/times work best for your organiztion, and we can schedule something soon.
We usually ask for one hour to allow time for presentation and Q&A, but we can tailor it to accommodate schedules. Also, if there are specific topics you would like us to focus on, we can do that as well.
