Inauguration Day Protests May Affect Muni Service

A significant number of protest activities are anticipated around San Francisco on inauguration day, January 20, 2017.  Protests are planned at the following locations.

  • Civic Center Plaza, UN Plaza and City Hall
  • Downtown/Financial District
  • Marches on or around Market Street between City Hall and Justin Herman Plaza and the Castro
  • Bayview Opera House at Third and McKinnon
  • Other marches, protests or disruptions without fixed routes may occur at any location in the city

Please anticipate longer than expected travel time.
