Townsend Corridor Improvement Project Construction Forecast - August 23rd, 2019

The following construction forecast is subject to change due to weather delays or unexpected field conditions.

Townsend Street - from 4th to 5th streets 
Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.:

  • Curb ramps will be under construction at the intersection of Townsend Street and 5th Street through August 30 

Townsend Street - from 4th to 5th streets 
Friday Nights and Weekends between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.:

  • Ongoing catch basin and maintenance hole construction is forecast for the week of August 26  

Townsend Street - from 7th to 8th streets
Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.:

  • Mid-block sidewalk construction is forecast to be completed the week of August 26 

Other Construction Work on Townsend:

Ongoing emergency sewer work by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission on Townsend from 4th Street to 250 feet west is scheduled to be completed by September 5th
