If you’re looking for a fun family outing this weekend and little ones are in the group, check out the new Woods Mini-Park playground in the Dogpatch neighborhood.

With funding raised by the Dogpatch Playground Working Group with support from the SFMTA, Supervisor Malia Cohen (District 10), and the San Francisco Park Alliance, the new playground has been constructed on 22nd Street between Minnesota and Indiana streets, next to the Muni Woods Maintenance Facility.

Transforming a once underutilized 900 square-foot sand lot into the neighborhood’s newest gem, this playground features a soft, foam surface, wood benches and a large colorful play structure with a slide and swing. Just the thing for little explorers.
