Owl and Weekend Metro Bus Schedule Updates

The Muni Metro Subway reopens on Saturday, August 22, 2020. The Subway will be open 5am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 10pm on weekends. Muni is extending hours on some Owl routes and resuming regular weekend morning Metro Bus hours. Read below for more details about each schedule change.

L Owl Extended Hours

The L Owl will operate every night from 10pm to 8am the next morning, between Fisherman's Wharf and SF Zoo. Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes.

M Bus Regular Weekend Hours

The M Bus will operate weekend mornings only, from 5am to 8am, between Balboa Park and Embarcadero. Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes.

N Owl Regular Night Hours

The N Owl will operate every night from 10pm to 5am the next morning, between Ocean Beach and Downtown. Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes.

N Bus Daily Early Morning Hours

The N Bus will operate daily, from 5am to 8am, between Ocean Beach and Downtown. Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes.

N Bus and N Owl Routes in the Haight

The N Owl and N Bus serve different stops between Market Street and the Haight. The N Owl makes more frequent stops and the N Bus makes stops near existing train platforms.

T Bus Regular Weekend Hours

The T Bus will operate weekend mornings only, from 5am to 8am, between Sunnydale and the Castro. Service is scheduled for every 15 minutes.

The 91 Owl will operate every night from 10pm to 8am the next morning, between West Portal and SFSU. Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes.
