Sunday Streets SoMa District: August 21, 2022

Sunday Streets will return to the South of Market Neighborhood. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will transform city streets into car-free spaces for community health and connection. Streets will be closed for the event and Muni will reroute buses around the event area. Read below for more information.

Street Closures

Folsom Street will be closed to automobiles between Ninth and Spear streets from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Muni Reroutes

The following Muni routes will be rerouted starting at 9:30 a.m. Service will return to normal after streets are clear.

12 Folsom/Pacific
  • To Russian Hill, the reroute will be along 11th St, Mission St, and Main St to the regular route. Use 14 Mission stops on Mission.
  • To The Mission, normal route.
27 Bryant
  • To Russian Hill, the reoute will be along 11th St, Mission St, and 7th St to the regular route. Use 14 Mission stops on Mission
  • To The Mission, normal route.

Note: The 8, 15, 19, 30 and 45 may experience delays near the festival area.
