Event Summary
Mayor-elect Daniel Lurie's Inauguration Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 8. The ceremony will take place at City Hall. Streets in the area will be closed to traffic and Muni will reroute around the area.
Street Closures
Streets will be closed at different times--some as early at Tuesday evening--and will reopen after the ceremony.
From 6 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, through 5 p.m., Wednesday, January 8:
- Grove between Polk and Larkin
From 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday:
- Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place between McAllister and Hayes
- Grove between Van Ness and Polk
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday:
- Larkin between McAllister and Hayes
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday:
- McAllister between Van Ness and Larkin
Muni Service Changes
These Muni routes will reroute around the Civic Center area. Service will return to normal after streets are clear.
