Do you ride Muni? Do you have a smartphone? If so, paying your fare is about to get more convenient.
This fall we’re launching MuniMobile, a new mobile ticketing app to let riders buy and use fares from their smartphones — and you could be among the first to give the app a try.
We’re looking for intrepid volunteers representing a cross section of customers to beta test the app. If you’re interested in participating, just complete this brief survey by October 6. We’ll get back to you soon if you’re selected as one of the lucky few.
To test the app, you’ll need an Android phone or iPhone with a qualifying operating system and a valid payment form (credit card, debit card or PayPal). And you’ll need to ride Muni.
Visit the survey page for more details. MuniMobile will launch publicly later this year. It’s part of Muni Forward, our citywide program to create a safer and more reliable experience both on and off transit. After boosting service and updating routes just yesterday, we’re excited to keep the momentum going to improve your experience on Muni.
