This Tuesday's meeting will include presentations and discussion regarding the Transportation Authority’s “TNCs and Congestion” report and the replacement of the Light Rail Fleet.  There will also be a discussion on oversized vehicle restriction in regards to no parking from midnight to 6 a.m.

Our board of directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The agenda has not yet been posted on the board’s webpage.

27 Bryant Project Open House

Saturday, November 10, 1 p.m.
246 Eddy St
Nearby Muni Routes: 5, 19, 27, 31, 38, Powell Station.

The 27 Bryant bus serves 6,700 riders each weekday. It is an important north-south connection that links Nob Hill, the Tenderloin, SoMA, and the Mission neighborhoods. It is a route that residents depend on to commute to work and connect to other transit lines.

Additionally three-quarters of the streets on the 27 Bryant’s route through the Tenderloin and Nob Hill are high-injury corridors that have the most severe and fatal traffic injuries in San Francisco. Many of these injury collisions involve people walking in the neighborhood. This needs to change. So please join us this Saturday to view the proposals and provide feedback at our Open House.

Valencia Bikeway Improvements Workshop #2

Wednesday, November 14, 5:30 p.m.
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral Church
Nearby Muni Routes: 14, 22, 33, 49, 55

Valencia Street is a vibrant commercial corridor and a major north-south bike route in the city. Working with the community, the SFMTA has developed proposals for near-term curb management (i.e., parking and loading) changes from 15th to 24th streets and a pilot parking-protected bike lane from Market to 15th streets. Please stop by our workshop anytime from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to share your feedback on the curb management proposals.

This workshop will also be an opportunity for community members to preview the parking-protected bike lane design from Market to 15th streets. At this time, pending the SFMTA Board of Directors approval, the bike lanes are anticipated to be installed by the end of January 2019 and curb management changes in spring 2019.

Our Meeting Round-Up feature highlights different SFMTA public meetings that will be held within the coming two weeks. These meetings give you the chance to share your ideas and provide us with helpful feedback. Join us at our next meeting to learn more about SF's changing and complex transportation system.

Those listed above are just a few highlights. You can find a full list of upcoming meetings to keep up to date on your favorite SFMTA committees.
