This Weekend: Autumn Moon Festival, Folsom Street Fair, Cole Valley Fair and More

There will be no shortage of events taking place this weekend across the city, including the annual Folsom Street Fair in SoMa, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure along the Embarcadero the Richmond District Autumn Moon Festival, the Cole Valley Fair, the Treasure Island Flea and SF Deltas soccer at Kezar Stadium. Autumn Moon Festival

Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Richmond District

Autumn Moon Festival celebrations have been a tradition throughout Asia for over 1,000 years, and one is coming to the Richmond District this weekend. The holiday is often considered the "Chinese Thanksgiving" because of its celebration of gratitude and inclusion of abundant food. This family-friendly event, which will take place on Clement Street between 5th and 8th avenues, will feature dynamic performances, community resources, and great food and drink vendors.

How to Get There on Muni: The 1 California, 2 Clement, 28 19th Avenue, 38 Geary/38R Geary Rapid and 44 O'Shaughnessy routes will take riders close to the event.

Muni Service Note: The 2 and 44 will have reroutes while the 1, 28, and 38/38R may see delays and increased ridership.

Cole Valley Fair

Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cole Valley

The annual Cole Valley Fair takes place on Cole Street, between Carl and Grattan streets, and features local artists, a vintage car show, live music, children's events and lots of good food and drink from local vendors.

How to Get There on Muni: The 6 Haight/Parnassus, 37 Corbett and 43 Masonic will take riders close to the event.

Muni Service Note: The 6, 37 and 43 will have reroutes and may see crowding and delays due to increased ridership.

CANCELLED: N Judah Bus Substitutions

Update: The N Judah Line will provide regular train service this weekend. The bus substitution described below has been cancelled.

For the third of five planned weekends, N Judah rail service will be substituted by bus shuttles between Ocean Beach and Duboce & Church for construction on the Inner Sunset Streetscape Improvement Project. N trains will continue to run in the Muni Metro Subway to Caltrain during these times. For details, check out our service alert page.

Reminder: California Cable Car Line Bus Substitution

From Friday, Sept. 22 through Friday, Sept. 29, the California Cable Car Line will be substituted by buses as part of the Cable Car Gearbox Rehabilitation Project. For details, check out our service alert page.

Reminder: J Church Stop Changes at Balboa Park

Due to construction for the Balboa Park Station Area and Plaza Improvement Project, the J Church Line will continue to serve alternate stops on San Jose Avenue until the fall. For details, please visit our Green Light Rail Center Track Replacement Project page.
