Our Board of Directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The agendas are posted under “meetings” on the Board’s webpage 72 hours in advance of the meeting. All regular meetings can be viewed on The City channel 78 or online at the SFGovTV2.

7th Street and 8th Street Safety Projects Open House: 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22

Bayanihan Community Center

1010 Mission Street x. 6th Street

Nearby Muni Routes: 14 Mission, F Market, Metro-Civic Center Station

7th and 8th streets are intersected by multiple high injury corridors on San Francisco’s High Injury Network, which is the 12 percent of city streets that account for 70 percent of San Francisco’s traffic crashes. They are busy, one-way streets that are crucial to keeping San Francisco moving. This project will make these streets safer and more comfortable for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

SFMTA staff will provide details on the project and discuss how a planned re-route of the 19 Polk will make it safer and quicker through the SoMa and Civic Center neighborhoods. Staff will also gather feedback on how parking and loading can be better managed.

You can visit the project webpage for more information or to sign up for email updates.
