Mar 27

This Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the San Francisco County Transportation Authority (Transportation Authority) is hosting a virtual open house on the District 4 Mobility Study.

The Transportation Authority will be sharing new concepts to increase walking, biking, and transit in the Outer Sunset and Parkside neighborhoods. These include a family neighborway network, improvements to key business corridors, a community shuttle, safety improvements for Lincoln Way, improvements to public transit, and more. They’ll be asking you to weigh in on these concepts. They'll also share an update on their analysis on the impacts and community responses for the potential concepts for the long-term future of the Great Highway.

Want to weigh in on the future of walking, cycling, driving, and transit in District 4 and the Great Highway? Register for the virtual open house.

The D4 Mobility Study is expected to finish in Summer 2021 and will help determine the future of the Great Highway, and other mobility improvements. Several concepts are being considered for the future of the Great Highway including a full reopening, partial reopening, occasional car-free use or permanent car-free use.

Visit the D4 Mobility Study website to learn more about the Study and public input process.
