Our Board of Directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Tomorrow’s meeting will include a supplemental capital budget (.pdf) for fiscal year 2016 (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016). We will craft and pass a new two-year budget next spring.

The SFMTA is working on making San Francisco transportation safer and more reliable. Along the 22 Fillmore; the proposed improvements on 16th Street between Church and 3rd streets will reduce the transit travel time by 25 percent. As a part of this effort we are holding a public forum in regards to the proposed changes along the corridor.

30 Stockton – Chestnut Open House: 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 13

The Muni Forward team is working on upgrades to various transit routes throughout the city. The proposed improvements to the 30 Stockton will reduce transit travel time by 40 to 50 percent along Chestnut Street. Proposed changes will include improving route reliability by consolidating transit stop locations, improving pedestrian safety at intersections and establishing an eastbound transit-only lane during morning commutes to minimize delays.
