Safe Paths of Travel (SPOT) Violation Hearings

Contractors who have been cited for violations related to street-related construction operations that may not comply with the requirements of a Special Traffic Permit (STP) or other construction requirements, may protest SPOT citations issued to their companies or to their subcontractors. To protest a SPOT citation, contractors may contact the Hearing Section at hearingsgeneral@sfmta.com or call us at 415.646.2016. All SPOT hearings must be scheduled in advance.
