Event Summary
The annual Cherry Blossom Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, 2025 in Japantown for the first of two weekends. There will be street closures and a reroute of the 2 Sutter Route. Continue reading for details.
Street Closures
The following streets will be closed from 4 a.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Sunday:
- Buchanan between Bush and Sutter
- Sutter between Buchanan and Webster
- Webster between Sutter and Geary
The following street will be closed from 8 a.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. Sunday:
- Post between Laguna and Fillmore
