Our responsibilities

  • Contracts & Procurement - Facilitate contract selection process ensuring that all phases are followed to include review of scope, advertising, bid evaluation, award and certification; Ensure compliance with all contracting rules and regulations; Provide timely contract reports
  • Materials Management - Procure parts for Muni revenue and non-revenue fleets; Procure maintenance of service for Muni Facilities Management and Maintenance subdivisions; Provide the right part or service in the right place at the right time and right cost
  • Contract Compliance - Certify Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) according to federal regulations; Implement Local Business Enterprise (LBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and DBE programs on contracts; Implement federal, state and local employment requirements on contracts; Ensure all SFMTA active construction contractors have submitted current Certified Payroll Reports; Ensure all SFMTA active professional services consultants comply with requirement of the SFMTA Employment Training Program
