Sunday, March 4: Between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., neighbors are advised to anticipate construction-related noise and vibrations as crews work diligently to complete necessary night work. Due to sewer installation work, intensive noise and vibration is expected from Ellis to O’Farrell.
Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6: Due to sewer installation work intensive noise and vibration is expected from Turk to Eddy, Filbert to Greenwich and at the intersection of Golden Gate. Crews plan to be working on a joint trench to power overhead wires for buses from Geary to Post. Permitted sidewalk tree removal is planned to occur from Broadway to Vallejo and from Union to Chestnut. Water main installation is expected from Turk to Ellis.

Before utility, roadway and sidewalk work begins, the Van Ness Improvement Project team is inspecting Van Ness Avenue basements that may extend below sidewalks.
