Construction for the UCSF Mission Bay Platform Upgrade project will replace the platform canopy. During this construction, the northbound 3rd Street will be closed to vehicle traffic and Muni will reroute the T Bus and 91 Owl overnight. Read below for more details.
Street Closure
Starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 through 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, northbound 3rd St will be closed from 16th to South streets. For people driving north on 3rd St, use this recommend detour:
- Left on Mariposa
- Right on Owens
- Right on Nelson Rising
- Left on 4th St
- Right on Mission Bay Blvd South
- Left on 3rd St
Muni Reroute
Starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 through 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, Muni will reroute the T Bus and 91 Owl. Northbound, the reroute will follow Mariposa, Owens, Nelson Rising and 4th St to 3rd St; southbound, it will follow 4th St, Mission Bay Blvd South to 3rd St. The table below lists the temporary stops for the T Bus and 91 Owl:
