SF Pride Trans March: Friday, June 28, 2024

Event Summary

San Francisco's Trans March, one of the largest Trans events in the world, will take place on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event has been held on the Friday of Pride Weekend since 2004. The march will begin on Dolores Street, then proceed along Market Street to the are of Turk and Taylor streets where there will be speeches once the march has fully arrived in the area. There will be reroutes to some Muni service and possible minor delays to further service as the march proceeds.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed from 6 to 9 p.m.:

  • Taylor between Turk and Eddy
  • Turk between Taylor and Mason

  • Riders may also opt to use the Market Street Subway between Castro and Embarcadero stations
  • Streetcars will only operate along The Embarcadero between Beach & Jones and Don Chee Way - use F Market Bus Substitutions along Market St. (information below) OR use the Market Street Subway between Castro & Embarcadero stations
  • Transfer to F Bus Substitutions at Steuart St & Market St for continued travel toward The Castro
