Event Details
La Cruzada Guadalupana Pilgrimage, a yearly event that starts in South San Francisco and proceeds through San Francisco to St. Mary’s Cathedral, takes place this Saturday, December 7. The procession will travel from The Top of the Hill along Mission Street, 14th Street, South Van Ness Avenue, Ellis Street, and Gough Street to Geary Boulevard. The procession will make one stop mid route at the parish church of St John the Evangelist at Mission Street and St Mary’s Ave. Approximately 10,000 people, 25 horses, and 18 vehicles will take part in the procession. Muni will reroute off of Mission St. during the procession.
Muni Service Changes
Beginning at approximately 11:15 a.m. reroutes will go into effect on the 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 33 Ashbury/18th Street, and 49 Van Ness/Mission routes. Please see the table below for information regarding each impacted route.
Note:: The F, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 29, 31, 36, 38, 38R, 43, 44, 48, 52, 54, 55, and 67 may see minor delays during the procession.
