The following two-week construction forecast is tentative and subject to change due to weather delays, unexpected field conditions or construction crew availability.
Construction crews are scheduled to build sidewalk curb ramps for a future boarding island between Folsom and Clementina streets and repaint traffic lanes and relocate the red transit lane between Clementina and Howard streets.
Folsom to Clementina
Daytime Work (between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
- During the weekend of February 15 and 16, scheduled work includes building sidewalk curb ramps mid-block between Folsom and Clementina streets in preparation for the future bus boarding island at that location.
- The bus stop at Folsom serving the 8 Bayshore, 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton will be temporarily relocated to Howard, half a block north, during construction.
Clementina to Howard
Daytime Work (between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
- During the week of February 18, traffic lanes are scheduled to be repainted. Work includes grinding of lane lines and repainting them. Parking spaces are temporarily restricted in the construction zone during active work.
- The bus stop at Howard serving the 8 Bayshore, 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton will be temporarily relocated to Folsom, half a block south, during active work.
Night Work (between the hours of 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.)
- During the week of February 18, the red transit lane is scheduled to be relocated. Work is scheduled to take place over the course of 3-4 nights to minimize traffic disruptions. During this time, neighbors can anticipate construction-related lighting and low-level noise as crews lay down the red thermoplastic for the transit lane. Parking spaces are temporarily restricted in the construction zone during active work.
- The bus stop at Howard serving the 8 Bayshore, 30 Stockton, 45 Union/Stockton and 91 3rd Street/19th Avenue Owl will be temporarily relocated to Folsom, half a block south, during active work.
