The 30 & 45 Return to Lower Stockton and 4th Streets: April 13, 2019

Lower Stockton Street reopened to vehicle traffic earlier this year, with two one-way southbound lanes from Geary Street to Market Street. This part of the street was closed in 2012 to build Central Subway’s Union Square/Market Street Station.

Muni Changes

Starting at 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, Muni will restore service for the inbound (southbound) 30 Stockton and 45 Union/Stockton lines onto Stockton and 4th streets, using a dedicated transit lane on Stockton. Read below for a list of stop changes for each line.

Note

Earlier this year, Muni restored service for the outbound (southbound) 8 Bayshore, 8AX Bayshore "A" Express, 8BX Bayshore "B" Express and 91 Owl lines onto Stockton and 4th streets, using a dedicated transit lane on Stockton. Read below for a list of stop changes for each line. The 27 Bryant will not change. It will remain on 5th Street on its current route.
