Event Summary
The Sunset Night Market is a series of free, all-ages street events featuring food and retail vendors, kids activities, local music and performances. The event celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures while supporting small businesses, local artists and the community that makes the Sunset neighborhood special. The August event will take place on Friday, August 30, from 5 to 10 p.m., and will require street closures and minor reroute of Muni's 7 Haight/Noriega Route.
Street Closures
The following closure will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 30:
- Irving between 19th and 26th avenues
- The following intersections along Irving will also be closed to traffic:
- 21st Ave.
- 23rd Ave.
- 24th Ave.
- 25th Ave.
- The following intersections along Irving will also be closed to traffic:
Muni Service Changes
Due to the closure of the intersection at Irving St. & 23rd Ave., the outbound 7 Haight/Noriega will have a minor reroute through the area.
