Construction for the 16th Street Improvement Project is underway! Construction crews are out on the corridor, and they’re hard at work on the second phase of this project to improve safety and the future transportation needs for all of those who travel along this corridor. Not only will this transformation improve transit reliability by up to 25%, it will also ensure a safer and accessible space for everyone as part of the Muni Forward initiative.
During the course of this project, SFMTA will be holding 16th Street Office Hours, an opportunity for the public to meet members of the 16th Street Improvement Project outreach team. Once a month, we will set up a spot where we can meet you and answer any questions you might have about the project. Here is where you can meet us for our August office hours:
- Tuesday, August 30th, 4-6 p.m. at the parklet at 2886 16th Street, home of Poc-Chuc.
Future Office Hour dates will be announced soon. If you are a business owner and would like to host us for a couple of hours, please contact us at 16thStreet@SFMTA.com.
Looking forward to meeting you!
